Really really random!

To all "I'm sorry!" I really am sorry for not writting much. Oh well I'm back now! So anyways, I have been sick and out of school for the past two days and I really wish that I was still at home today. I have a lot of work to catch up on but not as much as I thought I would have. However, I do have to make up three tests so far and thats really depressing. Oh well! So I am in the process of writing a short story for my creative writting class and it's going alright. I mean I think I have done better, but it's ok. I'm still working on it and when it's "finished" I'm going to go over and probably change some stuff.

Sorry to bore you. Anyways, my life is not so interesting. I did have a funny dream last night about my friend wearing a hocky mask and talking to me about purple pinnapples with polka dots and pumpkin seeds. It was interesting...

I don't really have much else to say, but if I think of something I will be sure to tell you! Have a great day, week, year, whatever!

RANDOM plus poetry!

Hey People!
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while but there was a lot going on. WE had this big project due well, today, in creative writing along with a lot of others for other classes so needless to say, I've been busy. However..... I was able to write some more poems and some of them I really enjoy. One is named "Above our Heads".

While finding refuge in a stormy sky

While looking out the window during mass

We know in our hearts that our time is neigh

And sunlight twinkles through the tear stained glass

We risk it all to look up above us

The cold wet drops fall to the ground in shame

We won't leave our homes without a wet fuss

We know more than ever life's not a game

And all the storms our lives can sometimes be

The clouds above our heads are much too low

We leave behind our greatest legacy

As we lay in the wake of tomorrow

When the lid finally closes it is done

But the eternal storm has just begun

This is really my favorite poem. I don't really know why except that it was really fun to write. I wrote it when I was half asleep. I woke up seriously like five minutes after I fell asleep and it all came to me. I even woke up in the morning with the pen still in my hand. O well! At least it smelled really good! And I was being serious too, it was one of those pens that smell like stuff and this one was the black one and it smelled like vanilla! Anyways, this was a really random blog. I just felt like telling anyone that just happens to read this that "Above our Heads" was my favorite poem and the funny story of how it was written.

But now I can tell you what else has been going on. Well a bunch of stuff but at the same time NOTHING! I worked last night and I will again tonight. All these school projects have been taking up a lot of time too. I had a concert on Wednesday, fun stuff, and not really anything else. I started to run again! I used to do track but I quite after I hurt my knee. But, Tuesday I went running for a while and it felt really good to be back out there.

This is a site that I found while I was looking for other blogs like mine. This site talks about current events as well as random works of its own. This is a great site because it does use all these different stories to draw attention and it makes a difference. Also, the writter of this is very talented. The stories and other things are very well written and show talent.
I did not think that many other people would blog about the same kind of things that my creative writing class is doing. This really suprised me. It also made me happy to know that other people out there are expressing themselves through writing.

First poem: Free

Free

The birds in the tree
so happy and free
that's how I want to be

Life can be such a test
like sitting in a nest
We all try our best

To be free

This poem was my first writing of the year. It was done after I had gotten bad news from my family. I was thinking about how much easier life would be if I didn't have to worry about all the troubles that we as humans have. I was also thinking how it would be so much better to be able to go wherever I wanted whenever I wanted. This is how I started writing about a bird. They do have things to overcome, however, they can get away from things by just flying away. This is what I long to be able to do. As many other people in this world do, I want to be free.

My favorite quote in this poem is "Life can be such a test" this is because it relates to anyone that has ever had to overcome an obstacle in their lives. Life is a test of your personality and how you want to live as a person. This is the most important test that we will ever have to pass. While I was writing this poem I was not in the best mood. However, when I was finished it almost felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I feel that this poem does show my emotions at the time and I really hope that it might relate to people when they read it. I want all my writing to be able to help someone.

This is the first of many more poems, stories, and all that stuff on this site!

Hello everyone! I'm Kate and this is my blog. I don't know if you ment to look this up or not but either way, welcome!
